This series is about languages considered 'esoteric' by the larger programming community. Their design philosophy contradicts the prevailing wisdom of software engineering. But there are strong reasons for not ignoring them. In fact, they deserve to be widely adopted and used by the software industry, for its own good.

The languages discussed here represent different approaches to problem solving. These articles are not tutorials. They are short advocacies that demonstrate certain unique capabilities of these 'super' languages.
